Little kids only stay little for a short time. And it’s one of my favorite stages to photograph. There’s nothing quite like the wonder and joy that little ones bring to a session.
My family sessions are not your typical -hold still and smile- kind of days. We’re playing games, telling secrets, creating fun and trouble everywhere we go. Whether we wander through a local garden or play in your backyard the results are equally amazing. You’ll have lovely, happy, FUN photos that document a fleeting moment of your little one's childhood.
To me, happiness is more important than that "picture perfect" pose, and that's what you'll see in my photos.
You want to hire someone who can document it all, without you missing out on the fun!
What good are family photos if you're always missing someone? THAT is what I'm here for.
The crazy, joyful, hilarious, temperamental nature of kids is the part I love. I love the pouty faced smirks and the red faced temper tantrums as much as the sweet smiles. The unpredictable, comical moments are just entirely too entertaining to me.
My kiddo is 6 now; and equal parts fun, curious and crazy. And honestly? I love all those moments!
I'm amazing at connecting with little kids. Even the shy, scared, or stubborn little ones tend to come around and have fun. When it comes to photoshoots with kids the most important thing is for everyone to stay relaxed.
From one parent to another- Kids pick up on the moods of the adults around them! So take a breath, sit back and enjoy the fun.
If you walk into my home you’ll see my walls covered with photographs of my family, our travels and artwork we have made together. In our hallway hangs a permanent art show; full of our favorite drawings, photos and creations. I promise you that no matter how great you think that photo looks on the computer - you and your children will love it more once it's on your walls.
My kiddo loves to walk around our house and look at photos of us from "fun days" and "special trips". He lights up when showing friends and families new photos during each visit. The joy in those moments is exactly why I encourage everyone to print their photos.
