A Bear’s Den Engagement Session is all the best of a mountain shoot with almost none of the hiking. The walk (and I say walk strongly) is less than half mile from the parking lot. Jordan and Cal met up with me one summer evening and we explored the views around Bear’s Den. Right on the Appalachain Trail, this cool little spot has awesome views of the valley. With giant granite rocks, lots of trees and pointing right in the direction of sunset – this is a perfect local for Engagement Sessions. To top it off, it’s only about an hour from DC!

Jordan and Cal spent their session laughing and dancing. She brought a homemade bouquet of sunflowers to include since these are her fav flowers. We spent the session talking about their wedding plans, chatting about her Tom’s Heels (that I’ve always wanted to buy!) and just enjoying our time together. They just got married a few weeks ago and even though I’m just getting around to blogging their Engagement Session – their wedding sneak peek is gorgeous!
