This Wintry Courthouse Elopement was the perfect way to start the Holiday Season last year. When D&H reached out last fall to ask about photos for their Courthouse Elopement in Fairfax City I was so excited. I love an Elopement for a million reasons, but the top one is just the amount of fun and flexibility that goes with the day. There are no crazy stressors, insane family members or silly issues to deal with along the way. You just kind of go with the flow and enjoy the moment. Which is exactly what we did. We had LOTS of fun!
D&H got married at the Fairfax Courthouse in December, right at the beginning of winter. With just a bit of a chill in the air, and the crispness of early winter creeping in they said their vows to each other. Nestled beneath a canopy of trees in the courthouse, they smiled and promised to spend their lives together. Afterwords, we wandered around the grounds and took advantage of that amazing winter light that happens. It may have been a bit chilly but she looked amazing in her silk dress, and you could see how happy they were to be married.
